Star Painting was formed in 1984 out of Ambler, Pennsylvania. Star Painting and Wallcovering offers a full range of services for residential and commercial customers. Our services include interior and exterior painting, wallcovering installation and removal, power washing, color and design solutions as well as carpentry solutions including built-ins, crown molding, chair rails and wainscoting.
Owner, David Carhart is still a business presence and his son Daniel has joined the company as well. David has served actively on the Peter Wentz Farmstead Society for a number of years. Dave is also an active volunteer for Forever Young Veterans and spends some of his free time taking veterans on life changing trips that honor their past, help them heal from painful yesterdays and enable the veterans to move onto beautiful tomorrows. Prior to that, he traveled the world as a Merchant Seaman delivering products to different ports of the world. David brings with him a unique perspective to restoring historic buildings that comes with the blending of his two passions – painting and history!
Growing up the son of a painting contractor, Daniel has been involved in the industry for most of his life. He joined the business full time, six years ago and became partial owner, shortly thereafter. Working previously in the service industry Dan brings with him a passion for delivering the absolute best customer service experience he can.
Over the years, Star Painting has received numerous local and national awards for painting excellence. With the steady growth of customers and employees, the company soon expanded its customer base to include all of Montgomery, Chester and Bucks Counties.
